Here at Daniel Thwaites, our story began in 18th Century Lancashire when Daniel Thwaites was born but it was 30 years later in 1807 when things really got going and he became a partner in the Eanam Brewery in Blackburn. Daniel built his brewery with an eye for quality and a generous blend of innovation, craftsmanship and warm hospitality.
Even today, these four principles have stood the test of time and define how we do business today. Our history and heritage of craftsmanship and tradition go hand in hand and bring together our real family hospitality in our beautiful locations across the country.
We are privileged to serve guests in our 21 hotels, lodges and Inns and across over 200 tenanted pubs. Offering a warm welcome and exceptional experiences are part of who we are. And let’s not forget that brewing is in our blood. We brew our own Thwaites beers from our Head Office site in Blackburn so that all our guests can experience what makes us famous.
